"Regarding the question of a new Diabolical Masquerade album I clearly had a mental lockdown since I completely forgot that Anders Nyström have been writing tunes for Bloodbath, including stuff from just a few years back, so that is NOT one of the reasons why it's unlikely that there's another album from that project. It is, however, highly unlikely that I would be involved in it since my focus these days are mixing and mastering exclusively, and do exactly that for a Diabolical Masquerade album would of course be amazing!"

Der rappende Kinderarzt unseres Vertrauens ist zurück! (Pressetext-Type-Intro: Check!) ...und so ganz korrekt ist diese Aussage sowieso nicht mehr. Denn wenn auf dem neuen Dexter-Album »Yung Boomer« ein Thema heraussticht, dann der sehr offensiv zelebrierte Schritt, sich ins Vollzeit-Rapper-Dasein zu begeben und den sicheren Job an den Nagel zu hängen. Thematisiert wird dies - wie der Albumtitel schon vermuten lässt - auf durchgängig sympathische, wie humorvolle Art und stets mit einer riesigen Portion Selbstironie. Denn wer sonst könnte sich einerseits selbst als "90% lit, 10% Cringe" bezeichnen und gleichzeitig auf den eigenen Produktionen raptechnisch neben Lakmann und Döll bestehen? (Und überhaupt: Wer hat solche Kombos?) Ihr merkt, der Hype ist da. Was es an »Yung Boomer« jedoch auch zu kritisieren gibt, welche Unterschiede auffallen, wenn ein absoluter Dexter-Fanboy und -Neueinsteiger über das Album sprechen und eine spannende (oder zumindest... ähm... einfallsreiche?) Theorie über den Fatoni-Part - all das hört ihr in unserer neuen Review! Viel Spaß mit der Folge!

Endlich geht's los! In der zweiten Folge von "Session, die - Die Entstehung eines Rap-Songs", bastele ich mit Fruity Loops (der Software meines Vertrauens seit den frühen 2000ern) ein Beatgerüst.
